Hoof Beats Club- Horsemanship Day for young people aged 7-16
Join us this summer for a selection of dates to start or continue to work on your horsemanship skills. Ground based work with our herd of horses working on the principles of building a relationship with one of our horses or ponies. You will build your skills following the 7 games foundation, online (using a rope) and liberty work. Along with spending time in watching the herd, followed by pizzas (made in our wood fired pizza oven) from 10-1pm
Each sessions we will cover:
- Grooming
- Horsemanship skills
- Herd Observation
- Pizza (please advise us of any dietary restrictions)
We hope you can join us
We are fully ensured, and enhanced DBS checked and licensed with East Staffs Council. There will be no horse riding in these sessions. All young people will need suitable footwear and clothing and parents and carers are welcome to stay. We will ask you to complete a booking form and you can email it or bring it in on your first session.
